Where motorcyclists ride together.

RIDERS is a French mobile app, on iOS and Android, that brings riders together around group rides that state their level and starting point. It lets you find riders near you, join or organise a group ride, and coordinate through a chat dedicated to each ride. It covers France. During the beta the app is entirely free; at launch RIDERS stays free to use, with an optional Riders Pro plan.

Why this exists

Riding alone is the default. It shouldn't be.

" Friends are never free when you are. "

Built by riders. For riders.

Two riders fed up with the solo default. Every feature ships because we needed it on the road, not because a marketing committee asked for it.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Before you join.

Is it really free?

Joining the waitlist is free. The whole beta is free. After launch, some advanced features will be grouped into an optional plan, Riders Pro; the core stays free.

When can I download the application?

Public launch is planned for 2026. Waitlist members get access first. Sign up earlier, ride sooner.

Is it open to all motorcycles?

125cc to big bikes: road, adventure, sport, roadster, custom, electric. All bikes welcome.

How do you handle safety with strangers?

You see everyone's bike and experience before you commit, and you talk it through in the ride chat beforehand. The organiser decides who can join: everyone, their club members, or invite only. A ride can also be women-only, and any club, ride or route can be reported. Safety is non-negotiable.

Is my data protected?

GDPR-compliant, hosted in France/EU, never sold to third parties. Delete your account and your data anytime, in one click.

I'm a beginner, can I still join rides?

Yes. Every ride states its level (all levels, beginner, intermediate, experienced, expert) and you can filter the ones open to you. Every ride also shows its route on the map, its distance and its estimated duration, and the organiser spells out the meet-up and the plan in the description. Ask your questions in the group chat before you commit. Many experienced riders enjoy mentoring beginners.

How is this different from a Facebook group?

Facebook is chaos: posts get buried, no map, no filters, no rider profiles. RIDERS is built around the ride: find it on the map, filter the upcoming ones, the ones near you or your own, and coordinate in the chat dedicated to that ride, @mentions included. Once you're rolling, you share your live location and suggest a stop to the whole group.

How do I report bugs or share ideas during the beta?

Private Discord with the founders, or email contact@riders.fr. Every message gets read.
